Air agreement with New Zealand

China and New Zealand signed an air services agreement that removes restrictions on air travel between the two countries. Under the agreement, Chinese and New Zealand airlines will be permitted to fly between any airports in either country. Before the signing of the agreement each country had only two approved airports. Restrictions on the number of airlines allowed to operate services between the two countries and the types of aircraft allowed for passenger services were also lifted under the agreement.
