Air China buys more Boeings

The Boeing Co said Air China has ordered seven more of its 737-700 jetliners, list-priced at US$360 million each, bringing to 139 the number of Boeing aircraft in the flag carrier's fleet when deliveries are completed in mid 2006. The first new plane is scheduled to be delivered in November 2005. The 737 has long been considered the workhorse of discount carriers like America's Southwest Airlines.
