Air China to fly Beijing-Sydney non-stop

[photopress:air_Sydney_harbour_bridge.jpg,full,alignright]Air China is to launch a new, non-stop service between Beijing and Sydney, Australia, starting December 1. The service will operate three times per week using Air China’s newly delivered Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft.

The new flight departs Beijing every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3:30 p.m. (flight CA173) and arriving in Sydney the next day at 6:15 a.m.. The return flight (CA174) departs Sydney every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 p.m. and arrives back in Beijing the next morning at 5:50 a.m.

In further network growth, Air China is offering a new Beijing-Macau service and will increase its Beijing-Bangkok route to twice a day from December 1.

As China’s sole designated flag carrier and the Airline Partner of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Air China serves 78 domestic and 39 international cities with an extensive network from its Beijing hub.
