Alibaba Group Holding announced on Tuesday that two of its US subsidiaries are set to launch an e-commerce site in the US as it seeks to expand in the world’s largest e-commerce market, The Wall Street Journal reported. The two subsidiaries, Vendio and Auctiva, will soon launch a website called “11 Main,” which will offer high-quality products from select merchants in industries like fashion and jewelry. Though Alibaba’s revenue has surged in China on the popularity of its e-commerce platforms Taobao and T Mall, the company has had limited success abroad.
