A US survey has revealed that most Americans see relations with China as the most important for their country, Reuters reported. 34% of of the 1,077 adults polled said that relations with China were the most important for the US, compared to 23% who said that relations with the UK were paramount. The poll also revealed the ambivalence of the American attitude toward China: 56% of Americans believe China is an enemy compared to 33% who feel the country is an ally. The survey was conducted between October 29 and November 2 and comes two weeks before US President Barack Obama is due to visit China.
