Anta to open 1,000 Southeast Asia stores

Anta Sports Products Ltd. plans to open 1,000 stores in Southeast Asia over the next three years, as the Chinese sportswear giant looks to become a global brand, reports Caixin. Anta’s retail sales in the region nearly doubled year-on-year in the first half of this year, Anta Group Vice President Will Wang told the Asia New Vision Forum 2025 in Singapore on Thursday.

“True globalization means achieving localization in every market while staying true to the brand’s DNA,” said Wang, who is also chairman and president of Anta Southeast Asia. “It’s about delivering brand value and high-quality service to local consumers with standardized excellence,” he told a panel.

Anta established its Southeast Asia division in 2023 and made Singapore its headquarters. The brand had 224 stores outside of China as of the end of June.
