Apple begin talks for first deal with Chinese chipmaker

Apple have begun talks to buy storage chips from Chinese manufacturer Yangtze Memory Technologies, according to a report by the Nikkei Asian Review, which would be the U.S. company’s first deal of this type.

Apple will use these chips in new iPhone models and other products for sale specifically in the Chinese domestic market, Nikkei reported.
