Apple to build second data centre in China

Apple has confirmed it will build its second data centre in China at the city of Ulanqab in the Inner Mongolia region, Xinhua reports.

This will be the company’s first data centre in Northern China, adding to the existing base in southern Guizhou province. Operations are planned to begin in 2020, which will offer iCloud services to the Chinese mainland.
