More than 300 aviation and space flight manufacturers have gathered in Tianjin to promote their latest technologies and new products. Among the companies showcasing their products at the aviation expo are global giants Airbus, Boeing and Bombardier.
Apart from displaying their goods they are also taking the chance to share advances in R&D in materials, and aviation logistics. Participants come from various countries, including the United States, France and Germany.
More than 170 Chinese aviation enterprises, represented by China Aviation Industrial Group, are also taking part in the exhibition.
The exhibition was held in China for the first time in 2007, attracting over 160 aviation producers from around the world.
BizChina reported organizers as saying the main reason for holding the expo in China is because the vastness of the market for country’s aviation and space flight industry. China currently is ranked number two in the global aviation market.
