Baidu founder tops China's billionnaire list

Robin Li, the founder of China’s top internet search engine Baidu (BIDU.NASDAQ) has overtaken Dalian Wanda founder Wang Jianlin to become the wealthiest man in China, Bloomberg reported, citing the Bloomberg Billionaire Index. Li’s net worth has advanced by US$4.8 billion, or 65%, to US$12.23 billion so far this year as Baidu shares rallied, while Wang has seen his fortune rise by US$2.9 billion to US$12.2 billion. The bulk of Li’s wealth comes from his 20.8% stake in Baidu. Baidu is now the world’s 5th most visited website and China’s most popular search engine.
