Baosteel requested a share suspension today ahead of a major announcement which could be about a new share offer, brokers said. "Our board of directors will convene on Tuesday to discuss important corporate moves and major news will be announced on Wednesday," Baoshan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. said in a posting at the Shanghai stock exchange web site.
