The BBC said its English radio program is being jammed in China, Reuters reported. Although the accusation was a step short of attributing specific blame, the broadcaster implied that the Chinese government was behind the disruption in news transmissions. It said the coordinated efforts to stop news from reaching the Chinese people was “indicative of a well-resourced country such as China.” China’s foreign ministry did not make an immediate comment. Several broadcasters have accused the Chinese government of jamming radio services in the past.
