Thirteen new museums were added to the 2011 saver ticket for Beijing’s museums. These include the newly-opened vintage car museum in the Huairou district of Beijing, the Beijing Planetarium and the West Peak of Wuling Mountain.
There are 65 museums in five categories in this new saver ticket, which is sold at RMB80 (US$12) in post offices in Beijing.
This is a startling bargain for, as China.org.cn reminds us, Beijing is home to about 130 museums and 3,500 cultural relics.
