[photopress:HiltonZeta1.jpg,full,alignright]Hilton Beijing has completed a lobby to rooftop renovation and refurbishment. It was opened in 1993 and 11 years, in hotel design life, means time for a refit. The hotelis situated along the East Third Ring Road, near the diplomatic and business districts and a twenty minutes drive from the Beijing’s Capital International Airport.
Hilton Beijing has 375 guestrooms and suites, a multi-outlet dining and entertainment concept named ‘The 3rd Ring’ and a lot of MICE (stands for meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions) facilities.
The new design is by Hirsch Bedner & Associates which, in the rooms, has tried for a ‘home-away-from-home’ feeling. Although, in truth, your home may not be equipped with high-speed Internet and broadband connectivity, two-line telephone set, voice-mail messaging system, a large work desk space and an ergonomically-designed chair.
For those of us with even classier homes the upper floors of the hotel are exclusively reserved for executive Club floor guests. All Executive Floor Rooms offer personal home office system that combines fax, copier, scanner and printer, along with individual espresso machine, Bose entertainment system and bathroom inset TV.
Vlad Reyes, General Manager of the hotel said, ‘Our hotel captures the new spirit of Beijing – vibrant, visionary, inspiring and on the move.’
