China is re-imposing controls over foreign investment in TV production joint ventures, four months after it opened the sector to foreign media concerns. The State Administration of Radio, Film and Television issued an amendment restricting foreign companies to only one joint venture in most cases and prohibiting any ventures deemed "unfriendly", underscoring Beijing's anxiety over the public's access to content it regards as inappropriate.
