China reported its second confirmed human death from bird flu yesterday as a 35-year-old female tested positive for the H5N1 strain of the virus, The Associated Press reported, citing China's Health Ministry. The woman, a farmer in Anhui province, died Tuesday after developing pneumonia-like symptoms following contact with sick and dead poultry. China's first confirmed bird flu fatality was also a woman from Anhui.
