Carriers set fundraising target for extended maintenance JV

Air China and German carrier Lufthansa agreed to extend their Beijing aircraft-maintenance joint venture by 25 years, and set plans to raise US$100 million to expand the business. Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Corp (Ameco), which services both carrier fleets, is 60% held by Air China. Deutsche Lufthansa AG holds the balance.
