10,000 evacuated after blast

Seven explosions ripped through the Jilin Petroleum and Chemical Company plant in Jilin city, Jilin province in northeast China, state media reported. A total of 30 people were injured and 10,000 more were evacuated from the area of the blast, which blew out windows 200 meters away. Thick black smoke covered the area.
