Goldman Sachs signed a letter of intent to invest US$40 million in Chinese drug retailer Shenzhen Nep-Star Medical Co, Beijing Business Day reported. Nep-Star, billed as China's sixth largest medicine company, said the money would fund business expansion, much of that focused on extending the company's chain of drugstores.
