CBRC "wants results"

China Banking Regulatory Commission chairman Liu Mingkang said the Bank of China and China Construction Bank, both the subject of ongoing corruption investigations, had to produce solid results in their bids to sell stakes to foreign investors prior to their IPOs. Liu said said the CBRC would be watching restructuring activities closely, adding that China's state banks needed better internal controls and risk management.
