Central bank cautions inflation, rebound in fixed asset investment

China's central bank said it would continue its monetary policy targeting a 15% broad money supply growth this year, while warning a possible rebound in fixed asset investment following a 24.5% growth in urban fixed asset investment in January and February. Inflationary pressures are expected to continue due to increasing energy and raw material prices, the bank said at its quarterly meeting.
