Changsha High-tech Industry Development Zone and the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone are expanding. They are involved electronic information, machinery manufacturing, new materials, bio-medicine, and other pillar industries.

Computer terminals and direct-fired central air-conditioning sales volume from Changsha now rank first in China. It also accounts for 60% of the continuous strip of foam production capacity.

This is a long-standing tradition in Changsha. Since ancient times merchants and traders have thrived. Now a number of modern facilities have been completed and the volume of transactionsin the province achieve important national status.

Changsha now has 37 institutions of higher learning. There are 270,000 students, 97 scientific research institutions, 270,000 scientific and technological personnel.

Changsha Huanghua International Airport has 9 routes, non-stop in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and other cities and regions.
