[photopress:Chueng_Kong.jpg,full,alignright]Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, China’s first private business school, will this year begin offering a China module for MBA students for US and European business schools who want to learn more about China.
The move follows a successful China residency programme which Cheung Kong, which has campuses in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, ran for students from the Anderson school at UCLA in 2006.
Bing Xiang, dean of Cheung Kong said the proposed modules, however, will combine MBA participants from different schools. He said, ‘This initiative is not just about economy of scale, but also, it’s a good idea for students from Columbia, for instance, to interact with their counterparts from, say, Darden, Wharton and Insead.’
