Cheung Kong’s expansion plans for 2007

[photopress:Cheung_Kong_Graduate_School_1_2.gif,full,alignright]In an online discussion organized by Sohu.com, Prof. Henry Cao of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business talked about its plans for the future to become a world-class business school. More specifically:

Continued partnership with international schools – Wharton, Darden, INSEAD, UCLA.
Diversifying its student intake – it wants to admit more students from Europe and the U.S who have an interest in China. Currently, foreign students make up 15% of its intake.
Setting up more ‘inbound programs’ – to give more China knowledge to students from overseas schools.

CKGSB was established in 2002 and is the first private independent business school in China (hence the upmarket facilities shown in photos on their website). It has campuses in Beijing and Shanghai and a smaller learning facility in Guangzhou.
