China Gas Holdings (0384.HKG) plans to increase sales three-fold to 30 billion cubic meters by 2020 as China starts to import natural gas from Russia, Bloomberg reported. The company sold 8 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the year ended 31 March, and plans to sell 10 billion cubic meters in 2016 and 12 billion in 2016. Russian gas from 2018 will provide a boost to China Gas sales in northeast and north China, benefitting from a US$400 billion deal between China National Petroleum and Gazprom OAO (GAZP.MCX) signed in May.
