China, India discuss bilateral trade relations

A joint study group of representatives from the Chinese and Indian governments convened in Beijing to discuss the path of development of bilateral trade and economic relations between the two Asian countries. The group was first proposed by Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee during his visit to China in June 2003. The group will focus on preparing a five-year plan to increase bilateral trade and cooperation.
