India and China on Sunday held their first formal talks since Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took power last month, Bloomberg reported, citing a statement by an Indian foreign ministry spokesman. Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi focused on boosting economic ties during a discussion lasting more than three hours in India’s capital. According to the spokesman, they discussed “everything,” including ramping up Chinese investment into Indian industrial parks and countering terrorism.
