China Is key to North Korean talks: Japan

China's influence over North Korea will be key in resuming talks on ending North Korea's nuclear weapons program, Japan's Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura told Bloomberg. North Korea announced it had nuclear bombs on February 10, and ended talks with Japan, the U.S., South Korea, China and Russia on abandoning its weapons program. China is scheduled to send Wang Jiarui, head of the Communist Party's International Liaison Department, to North Korea on Feb 19, Agence France-Presse reported
