China signed an agreement Saturday with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to jointly develop offshore oil, state media reported. The agreement was part of a four-day visit by Vice Premier Ro Tu Chol and a DPRK government delegation. China Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan stressed that China would consolidate and develop its traditional friendship and cooperation with the country.
