NTT Docomo (DCM.NYSE, 9437.TYO), Japan’s top mobile telecommunications carrier, said Tuesday it will team up with China Mobile (CHL.NYSE, 0941.HK) and South Korea’s KT Corp (KT.NYSE, 030200.SEO) to exploit business opportunities, Bloomberg reported. The three companies will form a committee to discuss areas for cooperation in developing international roaming services, advanced handset technologies and high-speed wireless networks. NTT Docomo is leading the initiative. The company has lost share in its saturated domestic market and has been trying to expand abroad for the last decade with little success.
