China Mobile is studying Apple’s software shop business model and has plans to name its to-be-released software shop ‘MobileMarkter,’ reports China Business News quoting China Mobile Chairman and CEO Wang Jianzhou.
JLM Pacific Epoch reports that China Mobile intends to expand TD-SCDMA network applications via wireless broadband construction quoting China Mobile Vice President Lu Xiangdong at an industry meeting on February 10. China Mobile launched a TD-SCDMA-based wireless network in Xiamen.
The Ministry of Science and Technology is encouraging China Mobile to build an effective, interactive system and work closely with industry peers on TD-SCDMA development, said another Information Times report.
