China names new commerce minister

China announced that it appointed Bo Xilai commerce minister, replacing Lu Fuyuan who resigned for health reasons. As commerce minister, Bo will be responsible for China's external and domestic trade policies, foreign investment and WTO compliance. Bo served as governor of Liaoning province and is the son of party elder Bo Yibo.
