Apple Inc (AAPL.NASDAQ) ran into its second public relations snafu in China in a month on Wednesday as regulators ordered the technology company to remove obscene content from its App Store, Bloomberg reported. Apple was one of 198 websites that China’s National Office Against Pornographic and Illegal Publications ordered to remove objectionable content, according to reports by Xinhua News Agency that did not release details of the content. An Apple spokeswoman in Beijing declined to comment. A CCTV report criticized Apple’s customer service in China, particularly its warranty and repair policy, prompting a quick apology from Apple CEO Tim Cook on April 2.
