Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced Wednesday that Beijing would agree to a deal to fight corruption at November’s Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, Reuters reported. Wang said the anti-corruption plan was one of the agreements to be signed at APEC, but did not give details of its contents. China announced in July an operation called Fox Hunt targeting dirty officials who have fled overseas with ill-gotten gains; Australia, a popular destination for such criminals, has already promised its cooperation.
