China Power sees surge

Answering China's surging demand for power, China Resources Power Holdings reported a near one-third increase in total power generation in the first seven months. The company said it climbed by 31.37% year on year, to 17.35 million megawatt-hours. China Power attributed the growth to strong demand and recently increased capacity.
