Chinese authorities have redirected their search teams for Malaysian Air flight 370, The Wall Street Journal reported. Beijing also insisted that none of its nationals onboard were responsible for the disappearance of the plane. Despite growing demands for further information, Chinese government ministries have still not clarified whether the plane had entered Chinese airspace, and whether Chinese military radar had tracked the plane. Beijing’s unwillingness to give out information, however, does not mean it is withholding it, according to security experts. The government is under increasing pressure from the public to show that it is doing its utmost to protect its citizens abroad.
