China Southern joins SkyTeam

China Southern Airlines, the country's largest passenger carrier, has joined the international aviation association SkyTeam Alliance, Economc Observer reported (in Chinese). China Southern president Liu Shaoyong said the integration a part of a large-scale international airline network will help accelerate the company's strategic transformation. SkyTeam currently has 11 members with 16,400 flights to 162 countries and regions a day.
