China Southern, KLM Royal Dutch Sign Deal

China Southern Airlines Company Limited and KLM
Royal Dutch Airlines signed a memorandum on cargo and passenger transport on
Monday.

The agreement will double the number of passenger flights
between The Netherlands, Beijing and Shanghai from twice weekly to four times each
week. The agreement is aimed at serving the increasing cargo transport activity between
Shanghai and Europe.

The memorandum was signed during the visit of
Dutch Foreign Minister Karla Peijs to China.
KLM Royal Dutch also added new
routes to six other Chinese cities including Guangzhou, Chengdu and Xiamen.
