[photopress:air_China_Southern.jpg,full,alignright]If the airlines of China are going to compete successfully with the American and other airlines streaming in to their country, they need to lift their game. A good sign is that China Southern Airlines will be launching an all-new First Class and Business Class travel experience with all-new Airbus A330 – available from November 2007.
On board the new A330-300 business class seating is nearly as roomy as those in first class.
When the seat is laid flat, the back shell that surrounds the passenger functions like a curtain – offering passengers the ultimate in privacy to sleep or work in what is almost a private suite.
For long haul international flights there are built-in seat back massagers in both First and Business Class.
‘On-Demand Dining’ service offers passengers the convenience to order their meals and set their own dining times from the airport lounge – in advance of the flight.
Every passenger will also be presented with a silk book-bag containing newspapers and current periodicals.
Now we come to the key: flight attendants serving on-board the new Airbus A-330 have been highly trained to meet the needs of every passenger.
This is where an airline’s service makes it on fails. We will know in November.
