China Southern up 20%

China Southern Airlines expects a 20% rise in revenue this year driven by China’s recovering economy.

Executive vice president Chen Gang said, "This year the economy in China is better than last year…recovery in China is better than the rest of the world. The revenue for 2010 will be $7.3 billion."

The carrier, which has a fleet exceeding 360 aircraft, generates 80% of its sales from its home market.
Cargo News reports China Southern Airlines plans to add 130 aircraft in the next three years. Chen Gang noted carefully the order has already been paid for.
