China Southern has been a long-time partner of China Telecom. Now it has a formal agreement for a long-time cooperation planned to improve the IT level and customer service capabilities of China Southern.It is understood that China telecom will work with China Southern in offering value-added services such as switchboard services, integrated offices, 3G ticket booking, mobile phone two-dimensional bar code check-ins, and mobile video surveillance.
China Wireless News reports that no financial details of the deal have been announced. However, this agreement is a pointer to the future. First we had the disappearance of airline tickets. Soon we will have mobile phone booking, checking-in and access to all sorts of flight information.
