China is looking to get in on talks that will rewrite the rules for the US$4 trillion global trade in services, Financial Times reported. The US, the EU and almost two dozen other countries last year launched talks towards a new Trade in Services Agreement, or TiSA, which covers about 70% of global trade in services. Meetings between US and Chinese officials have taken place recently and it is unclear whether the US would, or could, block China from taking part. China has also held talks with the EU, according to people close to the negotiations.
