Europe must eliminate inflexible labour laws and innovate more if it wants to avoid losing skilled jobs to China in coming years, the New Zealand Herald reported, citing company executives. Although China has long been a source of cheap unskilled workers for Western businesses, China is rapidly turning into a rival to Europe as it produces more sophisticated goods, the executives said.
