China said it would make efforts to revive stalled multiparty talks aimed at ending North Korea's nuclear program. The move came after Pyongyang announced it had nuclear weapons already and would boycott further negotiations. The US and other countries involved in the six party talks have been urging Beijing to use its influence including its role as North Korea's main donor of food and energy to bring Pyongyang back to the talks.
