China will obtain the title of "world's champion exporter" from Germany 2008, according to the federal foreign trade body BFA's predictions. In 2007, China will overtake the United States as the world's number two exporter and compete with Germany for the number one position. But next year, China will surpass Germany with US$1.4 trillion dollars in exports. China's success in exporting comes from its electronics sector, while Germany specializes in exporting engineering and technological goods.
