China is expected to capture 24% of the Asia Pacific ex Japan market in professional information technology services by 2010, overtaking Australia as the largest market in the region, according to research firm International Data Corp. IDC estimates the technology services market in the region will grow about 10% each year, from US$29.57 billion last year, reaching US$48.37 billion in 2010. China last year accounted for a 17.2% regional share which was worth US$5.1 billion against Australia's US$9 billion.
