China urges economic policy to spur rebound

China’s central government has called for its economic policies and reforms to be implemented in order to strengthen the country’s recovery and improve the quality of growth, Bloomberg reported, citing a statement made by the State Council on Sunday. China’s economy grew by 7.8% during the third quarter from a year earlier. The leaders of China will meet next month to draft economic reforms and sustain long-term growth at around 7%.
