China has offered to enter talks with the US regarding cyber security following an exchange of accusations between the two country for perpetrating online attacks, Reuters reported. US National Security Advisor Tom Donilon said on Monday that China should recognize the extent of the issue and discuss appropriate behavior with the US. China responded saying it was open to such talks. “China is willing, on the basis of the principles of mutual respect and mutual trust, to have constructive dialogue and cooperation on this issue with the international community including the United States to maintain the security, openness and peace of the Internet,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chuying said.
