Chinese computer maker Legend launched two personal digital assistants (PDAs) with Chinese-language operating systems for the domestic market. The PDAs use software produced by US-based firm PalmSource. They will compete with China's rapidly developing mobile phones, which are increasingly incorporating PDA features into their designs.
The PDAs are available with black and white or color displays. Prices range from US$120 to US$360. They will be available nationwide in early 2004.
