China, US sign aviation cooperation agreement

China and the US signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on a civil aviation cooperation program during a China-US aviation symposium in Beijing. Civil Aviation Administration of China officials signed the MOU with counterparts from the US Trade and Development Agency supporting the development of the China-US Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP). The program, which was founded by top US jet manufacturers and transport companies, aims to increase interchange between the US private sector and the Chinese aviation industry through financial support, technology assistance and personnel training.
